With a Citizens Advice Bureau in the community people always have somewhere to turn in times of crisis, but the unmet demand for our service is growing. Can you help us to help more people?

Calderdale Floods

Our telephone advice line has been severely affected by the recent floods, so at the moment the best way to contact us is through the website form. Check our facebook page for the latest news.

Calderdale CAB is an independent local charity. It is a member of the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux.

Our Mission is to help people solve the problems they face from our centres in Halifax, Elland, Hebden Bridge and Todmorden, and through multiple community outreach locations across the district.

We provide generalist advice and/or guidance and/or signposting on nearly everything ( debt, employment, benefits, consumer, housing, family, law, relationships, immigration, etc). We provide specialist level advice and guidance in terms of casework on matters such as Debt, Welfare Benefits and Housing.
